Sweet Little Mermaid {Real Parties}

I received some adorable pictures from Tiffany, the fabulous Facebook Fan who won my Birthday Bash gift certificate back in July. Tiffany asked for a Mermaid themed Paper Cake favor set for her daughter. Tiffany went all out and styled a beautiful under the sea Mermaid party AND did all of this while on their Family camping trip 4 hours away from home!
Tiffany also shared with me where she found her inspiration for the party.

Decorations:
Centerpiece - the wonderful Mermaid Favor Cake by Party Starters (so glad I won that wonderful giveaway just in time for her party)
Jumbo Pasta Shells painted and jewels glued on (by my daughter)
Small and Medium Pasta Shells dyed with food coloring
Streamers to give it that under the sea look

Food:
Goldfish and Whale crackers
Finding Nemo Fruit Snacks
Mac-N-Cheese Bites (muffins) made with small and medium shell pasta from http://melsmeals.blogspot.com/2007/12/katies-famous-mac-n-cheese-bites.html
Blue Jello Jigglers with small Swedish Fish
Peanut Butter and Jelly "Fish" sandwiches cut into the shape of sea creatures

Drink:
Blue Kool-Aid with Rock Candy sticks turned upside down in drink to look like coral and a dolphin taped to top

Cake:
I wanted something unique, so once again turned to Google and found these FREE directions at http://familyfun.go.com/recipes/mermaid-cake-686164/

Games:
Treasure Hunt and a Water Relay Race (again, the games didn't come from one place totally, but sites like http://familyfun.go.com/parties/mermaid-party-704811/ and http://www.amazingmoms.com/htm/party_little_mermaid_birthday.htm offer a lot of help, especially when you add your own creativity)

Using the internet and a bit of searching Tiffany was able to create this amazing party! Thank you for sharing Tiffany, I have been completely inspired!!

Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
Pam
