I have been dreaming of creating DIY kits for a year now and I thought Party Starters' 1st Birthday was the perfect time to finally unveil them. I know there are people out there who are crafty, but short on time, who want easy affordable Do It Yourself party favors. My kits are just that, easy and affordable! I have kits available in quantities of 8 and 12 (custom quantities are also available upon request). I now have 25 colors of 110 lb gorgeous cardstock to offer. You can choose up to 4 colors per kit. Every box in the kit comes un-assembled, but includes adhesive. Just fold on the scored lines, peal of the plastic tape liner and assemble! Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy!!
Now, it has taken me a year to finally offer these kits, because I wanted a way for people to find decorations that were easy to find and could possibly be customized. After seeing all of the fantastic party printables that are available on the web the light bulb went off! DING!!! Why not show people how easy it is to create adorable and yes, affordable party, wedding or shower favors when they use their favorite party printables/ punchables along with my kits.
My next step...In order to get some great samples I needed to collaborate with a graphic designer who creates some wonderful party printables. So that is what I did! I started talking with Brandi from Tweedle Dee Designs on the Martha Stewart Dreamers Into Doers social networking site. So, for the past month Brandi and I have been brain storming and in the end this is the set we thought we would feature. A set that is unique and a bit out of the box! Brandi designed this cute as a bug, Vintage Summer Picnic collection. How much fun is this set??? I must say I loved using it to decorate the gable boxes. I sent Brandi some mini scalloped cake slice boxes and she did a great job decorating those.
Brandi's cake topper would be a great decoration on the top of my two tiered paper cake favor set!
When you browse through Brandi's Etsy store you will see that all of her printable collections will work great with my favor boxes. Whether you need birthday party, baby shower or bridal luncheon favors, together Brandi and I have got you covered! We are selling our items separately so you will have to go to each of our stores to purchase what you need to get started. Of courser we are both more then happy to help you create a custom order as well! Don't have time to assemble favors yourself...well I am sure that Brandi and I can work something out, just for you!!
So what do you think??? How about a chance to win a $50 store credit to Tweedle Dee Designs as well as a $50 store credit to Party Starters? You could get everything you need to create one heck of a party! ONE lucky person will win and here are a few ways to enter your name. You have until Tuesday night, July 13, 2010 at 11:59 PM MST to enter, so don't delay!!
