Use a multi-tiered pant hanger for small spools of ribbon and hang them up in a spare closet. For scraps of ribbon, use a soda straw dispenser to wrap ribbon around. Last if you have a lot of spare closet space and a LOT of ribbon use closeable 2" rings and curtain clips on a closet rod.
Personally I have a set of rubbermaid drawers that fit all of my spools of ribbon. How do you organize your ribbon? I would love to hear!
Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Pam
I have a WALL of ribbon. Here's a post I did for May Arts with ribbon storage ideas:

I love this post and I have lots of ribbon myself. I store mine in an oversized clear sealed bag. I've been thinking of new ways to store it, I might try one of these :)
ReplyDeleteLovin' the pants hanger idea. I have a hair bow business and blog for May Arts so I have a ton of ribbon to put it lightly.
ReplyDeleteOH I love these ideas... it seems like I end up tossing too many rolls of ribbon if they are all unwound....
ReplyDeleteI found some great combination shelf/ribbon rack units at Michaels. Each shelf has two dowls for ribbon underneath and the shelf space was a bonus! They go on sale regularly for 40% off too : )
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas!!
ReplyDeleteI don't have tons of ribbon but could always use storage ideas :)
Love the idea of the curtain ring storage! But seriously, that would take so much extra room!
