Party Starters' Halloween Inspiration Week day 4

Have you ever been "Boo-ed", NO not while playing sports. I mean "Boo-ed" as in the Halloween neighborhood game. Fill up a treat bag with some inexpensive Halloween treats. Print out one of the following poems along with the "BOO" ghost and adhere them to the bag. When its dark and of course, sneak over to a neighbors house and leave the bag on their door step. Ring the door bell and run away! Don't try running in slippers, I found that out the hard way and ended up with a twisted ankle the first time I did this...years ago! I am sure if there was a video camera on me the people would have died laughing at me. In reality you don't have to run too fast, usually takes people a while to get to the door anyway, but I was in total stealth mode...LOL


The air is cool, the season, Fall;
Soon Halloween will come to all!
The spooks are after things to do,
In fact a spook brought this to you!
"Boo" is a shield of the witching hour,
Just hang it up and watch the power!
On your front door is where it works;
It wards off spooks and scary jerks!
The treat that came with this cryptic note,
Is yours to keep, enjoy them both!
The power comes when friends like you,
Will copy this note and make it TWO!
The others here among our friends,
Will give them warm fuzzies that will not end!
We'll all have smiles on our faces,
But no one knows who "BOO'ED" whom!
Just two short days to work your spell,
Or one big ZAP will strike your tail!
And don't forge a nifty treat,
Like something cute and something sweet!
Please join the fun, lets really hear it,
spread the "BOOS" and Halloween  SPIRIT!


A friendly ghost has come your way
To wish for you a wonderful day.
He left a small gift and something sweet
Never heard him come cause he's light on his feet.
You must be light on your feet too,
Cause this is what you have to do:
Choose two friends, and choose them well.
Now this is a secret, you musn't tell.
Copy this poem, and the sign twice,
If you do it by hand, make sure it looks nice.
Take a couple of gift bags down from the shelf,
Or a plain paper bag, you can design yourself.
Fill them with sweets, and a gift of your choice.
Leave em' on your friends porch,
without any noise.
Hang this sign on your door, for all ghosts to see.
They'll know you've been "BOO-D",
and will leave you be.
This is only a game, to have a little fun,
Let's see how far it goes, before the month's done.
Now you have 24 hrs. to visit your friends.
Please don't be the cause of our games early end.
