Inspiration is everywhere

Once my kids headed back to school my Mom and I took the opportunity to do some window shopping at a new outdoor mall. My favorite store was an antique gallery where I found tons of inspiration for my blog design. Here are a couple of shots I took with my iphone, so I apologize for the quality.

I love all of the layering on this coffee table and the  neutral colors. I wanted to stop and make sure I didn't miss any details on this display.

I simply adore this pillow, the sentiment is so sweet.  This pillow was made out of a super soft cotton and wasn't overly stuffed so cuddling up with it would be fantastic!

I LOVE these large mirrors, with their antiqued finish.
They would be a great addition to any small room making it seem so much larger.

With all of this inspiration going on in my head I was lucky enough
to find this large picture at a local thrift store.

Now I am not a fan of the print or the color of the frame, but I LOVE the frames design and for $9 and a can of white spray paint I transformed this baby...

Here is the finished product, recognize it now? Once we move and are back into a place of our own I am going to make a chalk board out of this frame and hang it in my office. The only problem is, there are so many colors of chalkboard paint to choose from how will I ever decide!

Have a wonderful Thursday!!
Hugs,
Pam

P.S. I wanted to thank ALL of you who send such kind emails and left comments about my post "For Kris". I can't tell you how much your touching words have meant this week. There is still plenty of time to purchase my "Family Love" collection, proceeds from this collection go to a fund that has been set up for Kris' two children she left behind. Thank you Thank you!!
