I am extremely proud to announce that Party Starters has been featured as Martha Stewart's "Doer of the week" on the Dreamers Into Doers portion of her website! This is such an honor, I have been bouncing off the walls since we were contacted by Alexis, the Website's Editor, last week. I am and have been huge fans of Martha Stewart and her talented staff since the early 1990's. She is such an inspiration!
You can see our featured spot this week by clicking HERE
What does all of this mean... Every person/company highlighted as a "Doer of the Week" will be featured in the Martha Stewart newsletter and has the opportunity to win the People's Choice contest in the fall (2010). Winner receives $2,500 for their business.
All we can say is thank you thank you thank you Alexis for this honor! We are humbled to be among such an extremely talented group of small business owners.

Promoting Your Business Can Be SWEET!
A local boutique recently contacted us and asked if she could sell our products in her store. For the grand opening of "Kids Couture's" new location we made these cute little mini slice cake favors to be handed out to the first 50 customers.
Each cake slice was done in the boutiques colors, the lids were hand stamped and adorned with the Kids Couture logo. Mints filled each box and boy did this delivery smell sweet!
These mini cake slices are a great way to promote your business or are a perfect favor for weddings, showers or parties or all kinds.

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas...
We can't deny it any longer, the Christmas season is fast approaching! Why not grab one of our advent cakes to help count down the 24 days before Christmas. Put a little treat in each cake slice and starting December 1st open one cake slice each night until Christmas Eve. I used to buy each of my kids one of those cardboard advent calendars at the store...you know the ones that are $10 each and have one tiny peace of chocolate behind the little door. Not anymore, I am making one of these for my family as well, so I can fill it up with some GOOD stuff!!!
Thanks for looking,
Pam

A "Pink Glittery Guitar" kind of birthday...
I made this cake for a dear friend of mine, Karie who has a daughter, Hanna that is turning 9 at the end of this month. Guess what kind of party they are having... a Hanna Montana party. Karie asked for a Pink Glittery Guitar cake and this is what I created for them. This is one of our one layer small cake slice sets. Each girl at the party will get to take home a special slice of this Hanna Montana Cake filled with lots of fun goodies that Karie will stuff into each box.
Have a VERY Happy Birthday Hanna!
Thanks for stopping by,
~Pam
