Dreaming BIG!!! PLEASE help me blog my way to New York!!!

Have you ever been so close to a dream that you can almost taste it? *SIGH* that's me! I have $1000 standing in my way of meeting with Martha Stewart's Craft Department in New York!!!

I mentioned earlier today that I was invited to Martha Stewart's Blogger Night Out. A chance for me to network with other bloggers, and meet  Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia editors and bloggers in New York. Well with a few nudges from family and friends I have decided to ask for help. I have been blogging for 5 years on several different blogs and feel that this may be a once in a life time opportunity. Plus I have never been east of Chicago, so a whole new adventure!! I am willing to push myself out of my comfort zone to take this trip, meet new people and experience something completely new though in order to make this dream a reality.

I am a stay at home mom with three kids, a passion for creating parties on a budget and blogging. Unfortunately since this trip is last minute ( I received the invite last Wednesday and the event is this Thursday, August 5, 2010) from Colorado to New York, it is going to cost over $1000 for me to go. As many of you Mom's and Dad's know that is a rather large price tag. I hate to ask for help, but sometimes you have to! I have put together an old school drawing to help realize my dreams - I hope you will help! I have added a Paypal donation button on the top right hand side of my blog as well as the bottom of this post, for every $5 donated you will have your name entered once into a drawing for a $50 Amazon gift card. If I reach or exceed my goal of $1000 I will bump up the gift certificate to $100. I only have  48 hours to make this goal.
