A Surprise Wedding?? {Motivate Me Monday}

Paris {Motivate Me Monday}

I have found so many great photos while playing on Pinterest this past week. Such a great tool to create "boards" of inspiration for decorating, gift giving and of course party planning!

Here is a photo, one of the first I "pinned" and it truly got me motivated to create a new mini collection.  I created this collection in cream, toffee and black, perfect for birthday parties or showers. You have your choice of mini purse favor boxes, mini gable boxes and cupcake toppers.

 I have been wanting to surround myself in yellow as of late. Most likely as a pick me up from the bumpy road I have been traveling the past few weeks. So today my "Motivate Me Monday" photo is one of my new favorite flower, Ranunculus and in this beautiful shade of bright lemon yellow. If I had my own yard right now I would be planting these everywhere!

Aaaak, I need your help friends. I am slowly sliding down the Top 25 list of Party Plannin' Moms over at Circle Of Moms site. I realize that I am up against some extremely popular ladies, heck I only have 10% the "fans" that some of them have, so it's no wonder. BUT a girl can dream and I would be honored to be in the top 25. This Party Plannin' stay at home Mama is supporting a family of 5 (hubby hasn't had any luck on the job front as of yet) and needs all the free advertising I can get. OK on to Motivate Me Monday! Seriously this photo has got me all kinds of motivated and its not just because I am hungry! What a fantastic idea for weddings...weddings she says... heck yeah! Who says you HAVE to serve cake at your wedding?? Why not do a  mini pies, and mini cakes combo! Of course these mini pies would be fabulous for any occasion. The first thing that comes to mind is a 4th of July BBQ, wouldn't it be fun to have a side table full of different pies! BRING ON SUMMER!!

Life Is Like A Box Of Cupcakes {Motivate Me Monday}

I have been working on an large order of mini cupcake favor boxes for a clients wedding all weekend. SO when I went to look for an inspirational photo for today's post I figured I would search under cupcakes, well I had seen most of the pictures that popped up right away. Then I thought wait a minute how about narrowing my search a bit and look under "Mini Cupcakes". Look at the picture that slapped me in the face.....

How have I not seen this gorgeous picture?? Forget the box of chocolates for Valentine's Day...I WANT a box of cupcakes!!! I found this photo over at the Hello, Cupcake! Blog. If you haven't been there before, its a must stop while you are on your blogging travels. Karen and Alan give a great description of how each of these cupcakes is decorated and HELLO... could these be any cuter?! I am in love and totally motivated now...I want mini cupcakes like these in MY Mini Cupcake Favor Boxes!! Maybe I can think of someone really special to make these for this Valentine's Day...hmmm who has been really good???

Oh Yes...Change Is Good! {Motivate Me Monday}

It feels great to come back from vacation and be totally inspired and ready to take on the world! I am not sure if it was the vacation I needed, if its my new look OR if its the new products in my store. Actually I think its a combination of all three. I have been toying with the idea of changing my logo for sometime, something that is more well...ME. I wanted to start 2011 with a fresh and clean new look, more organized. The website is getting a makeover as well, but its taking a bit longer then I had hoped (fingers crossed it will be up soon). I will also have a brand new shiny button that you can grab so that you can replace my old one. Last but not least, my studio is getting a bit of a makeover as well, major organizing and de-cluttering! How can I hold a garage sale online...cause a lot of stuff has got to go! Anyhow...a FRESH, CLEAN new start for 2011... I AM READY!!

SO lets move on and get this Monday's post a rollin'
I thought it would be fun to share something called "Motivate Me Monday". I know some of us get the Sunday Night blues, not really looking forward to the new week ahead of us. So I thought it would be appropriate to post a photo that inspires me, motivates me...makes me want to take on the world. OK, maybe I won't go that far...still something that gets my creative mojo into gear for the week and hopefully yours too! These photos could be party related or simply something that catches my eye. Whether it is the colors the subject...you name it, it could show up here!

This image is from a fellow Etsy shop owner, Jennifer Squires. This photo absolutely captures the winter wonderland we have going on right now in Colorado. I love the title of this photo "Vanilla Dream Tree", somehow it makes all of that snow outside seem a bit more magical! Thank you Jennifer for motivating me today!

Are you wondering whats up with the themed post "Motivate Me Monday"??  Well it keeps me a bit more organized and also gives you an idea of what to expect and hopefully look forward to.  "Tutorial Tuesday" and "Tasty Treats Thursday" will be back. Wednesday's will be "WhatEVER" and Friday's will now be "What's New", which could be just about anything from new products to new inspiring parties.

Be sure to check out what is new to the Party Starters' Shop. I will be adding more product this week and hopefully some brand new favor boxes will be showing up in the store next week. I am stalking Mr. Brown as we speak..."where are my new dies?"!!!
