Brie & Fancy Plum Appetizer {Tasty Treats Thursday}

The thing I love about social networking is how many wonderful people I meet everyday, so to speak. Yesterday I was at a loss for a tasty treat to share, so what does a girl do...ask her Twitter friends. I received a response back from Patti Wunder. Patti owns & designs for Easton Place Designs, a sweet little shop featuring stationery, greeting cards and assorted paper lovelies and boy are her designs truly lovely. Anyway, Patti shared a quick and easy tasty appetizer that she posted on her blog called The Whimsical Fig that she says gets rave reviews. Hey if something is this easy and is tasty I am all for trying it!

Here is Patti's recipe for Bire and Fancy Plum Appetizers:

You need three ingredients: Brie Cheese, your favorite preserves, and some mini phyllo cups.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Place the phyllo cups on the parchment and place a dollop of preserves in each. I use fancy plum and it's delicious! Cut the rind off the brie. Top the preserves with a piece of brie and bake for 7 minutes. Serve hot or room temperature.

Have a great day!
hugs,
