Vintage Pom Poms? {Tutorial Tuesday}

So one of my Tweeps and I were chatting on Twitter about roller skating in our basements as kids. We looked up the skates we had and HELLO people on Etsy are calling them "Vintage"....I am not old enough to be VINTAGE....am I?? I mean I am not 40 yet...so the "V" word is kind of freaking me out! LOL!

Anyway, I remember attempting to make these pom poms back in the day (not that long ago) to tie to my roller skates. Actually these pom poms were cool on just about everything "back then". Well these fabulous yarn poms are back and are hitting the party world thanks to "Honestly...WTF"'s fabulous tutorial published last summer and brought to my attention by the one and only Super chick herself, Genevieve. Check it out!!

Now what else could you use these yarn poms on?? How about tops of party hats, decorative ties for party favor bags or napkin rings. Tell me where you can image placing poms.

Thank you Honestly...WTF for the sweet photo and tutorial!! AND thank you friends for stopping in.
Hugs,
Pam

  2. Yes, pompoms are back! They can also be used as chair decorations, or be hung from the ceiling with invisible nylon cord so they'll look suspended in air!
