Halloween Already?? You betcha!

I am in the midst of designing a Halloween photo shoot with a local photographer, so I am already getting my Halloween groove on. Oh My Gluesticks has an adorable Halloween printable set in her store ready for you to start your crafting engines! Here is what I created with her Party Circles and Baggie Treat Tags. I am an outside of the box thinker when it comes to designing, or at least I try to be. Therefore I don't always use things as they were intended.

Who says you have to use a baggie treat topper for bags...
Why not use it for a cute sign for a jar full of candy or fruit??

How about using party circles as tags. Here they are on my small cake slice boxes. A perfect Halloween favor filled with fun candy, trinkets or trail mix.

Another fun tag this time cut out with a scalloped punch and added to my mini gable favor box. A sweet treat filled with crayons, mini colored pencils or chalks.

I had to show the party circles on picks, but instead of putting them in cupcakes, why not choose something healthy like a big red or green apple! I'll take mine dipped in caramel :)

Super fun and festive alternatives for using great printables! Where would you use yours?? Check out all of Oh My Gluestick's Halloween designs on her Blog. Thanks so much Tommie for letting me play with your designs!

Since this is the last weekend before my kids go back to school I am taking off and won't be writing my Diary Of a Mompreneur post...sorry! I want to spend a bit of time with the kiddos, catch up on orders and maybe possibly see if we can head up to the mountains for a bit. Also...I know I said I would have the Mustache Bash photos up this week, well my week got away from me obviously! So I promise PROMISE the Mustache Bash photos will be up on Monday, Pinkie Swear!!!

Have a wonderful weekend friends! See you all on Monday!!
Hugs,
Pam

  5. Thanks for letting us know about these great printables from OMGluestick! Fall/Halloween is my favorite time of year and love how you used the cupcake picks on the apples! Your cake slice boxes are super fun in the yellow and purple -- and go so well with the printables!
